KCB Rugby change 5 for Impala Floodlit final against Nondies

KCB Rugby, keen to write history by winning the 10th Impala Floodlit title, have named their 23-man squad for the match slated for Impala Club on Saturday night.

The technical bench will be without several first-team players who have received call-ups to the Simbas  but have Vincent Onyala as part of the bench.

Nick starts for KCB Rugby

With Thomas Okidia and Wilhite Mususi part of the Kenya Simbas camp, the coach has brought in Nick Okullo and Derrick Juma to partner with captain Griffin Musila in the front row.

Andy Cole Omollo gets his third straight start and will partner Brian Munyali in the second row. The back row is changed following the absence of Peter Waitere who is with the National team and Davis Chenge, Elvis Olukusi has moved to the back row while Felix Ojoo and Steve Wamai start.

Samuel Asati retains his place at scrum-half while Shaban Ahmed is back at fly-half following the unavailability of Brian Wahinya who is also in the Kenya Simbas camp.

Kenya Under 20 captain Michael Wamalwa retains his place on the left wing, Festus Shiasi stays on the right side while the centre positions have Bob Muhati and Peter Kilonzo retained.

Bench replacements feature; Fidel Maina, Dennis Waithaka, Nelson Nyandat, Martin Owilla, Wiston Macharia, Michael Wanjala, Elvis Namusasi and Vincent Onyala.

A win will make KCB the most successful team in the competition.
