Wariuki arrives after a successful spell at Nakuru RFC, where he spent four years as Head Coach and five years as Assistant Coach in the Kenya Cup. He also served as Assistant Coach for the Cheetahs side that won the 2024 Super Series title.
Renowned for his “Brains Rugby” philosophy, Wariuki has been tasked with implementing a structured, clinical style of play as Kisumu RFC target an immediate return to the Kenya Cup.
Kasiti joins the club after previous coaching roles with Sigalagala RFC, Western Bulls, and Mukumu Boys, where he earned recognition for building competitive teams and developing talent from the grassroots level.
With the return of Were and the appointment of an experienced coaching staff, Kisumu RFC have signaled their intent to mount a strong promotion challenge in the upcoming campaign.
