KCB Rugby change 5 for Kabras showdown

KCB Rugby have unveiled their squad for the upcoming clash against Kabras RFC, making five adjustments to the starting lineup ahead of their match at Kakamega Showground on Saturday.

In a notable change, captain Griffin Musila will start from the bench for the first time this season, expected to provide a burst of energy in the later stages of the game.

James Ochieng will fill in at hooker, while Oscar Simiyu and Wilhite Mususi retain their positions as props.

With Davis Chenge unavailable, Emmanuel Silungi steps in to partner with the impressive youngster Andy Cole Omollo in the second row.

Kolian Persian takes over the number eight position following Steve Wamai absence, with Peter Waitere and Felix Ojow slotting in as flankers.

Experienced Michael Wanjala gets the nod at scrum-half, replacing Emmanuel Opondo, while Brian Wahinya retains the role of fly-half.

In the midfield, Bob Muhati and Trevor Odawa form a partnership once again, while Darwin Mukidza returns to the back three alongside Festus Shiasi and Elphas Adunga, with Lionel Ajeliti making way.

KCB cannot surpass Kabras in the standings due to the six-point gap between the two teams. Nonetheless, they will be vying for bragging rights, aiming to improve their recent record against Kabras, having only secured two wins in their last five encounters.
