Kenya Cup standings after round 1 matches

Following the opening round of the Kenya Cup season, five sides managed maximum points after picking winning bonuses in their openers.

Kabras managed the biggest win of the day whipping  Kisumu RFC 72-10 at Kakamega Showground. The match saw Derrick Ashihundu land four tries while George Nyambua landed two tries in a match that ended with Kabras bagging 12 tries.

Having conceded just 10 points in the win, they have a point differential of 62 points which puts them on top of the standings.

EDITOR’S PICKS 

Kenya Harlequin’s 48-8 win over Catholic Monks saw them earn a point differential of 40 points and it leaves them second on the log.

KCB Rugby picked a 45-13 win over returning Nondies and have a point differential of 37 which places them at position three.

Menengai Oilers occupy the fourth spot on the log while Blak Blad are fifth with five points.

Strathmore Leos failed to pick up a bonus point in their victory against Strathmore and have four points while Nakuru RFC managed to pick two losing bonus points at home.

Mwamba, Homeboyz, Nondies, Monks, Kisumu RFC did not pick points and are with no points.
