Uganda coach reaction

After their 20-14 victory against Tunisia in a test match, Rugby Cranes Coach Fred Mudoola admitted that Uganda’s 15s Rugby team had not been active for a long time but are working hard to match Tunisia’s level. He praised Tunisia as a good team with excellent players, who train in France.

He also mentioned that their match against Tunisia was good, timely, and hard.

“15s Rugby Uganda has not been active for a very long time. Tunisia is a good side, it is ranked higher than Uganda. The game was good and extremely hard. Most of Tunisia’s players played in France so their level is slightly high. Uganda is not far off, they are striving hard to reach Tunisia’s level,” he stated.

Cranes’ captain Ivan Magomu also commended Tunisia players as strong and experienced and made their game tough but they won due to determination and their strength.

“It has been really tough playing away from home. The Tunisians were strong to us, it was not easy. We kept our guard and we were successful at the end of this day,” said Ivan Magomu.
