The SVNS World Championship tournament in Bordeaux has reached the knockout stage, with the Cup quarter-finals now set across both the men’s and women’s competitions.
While the top-ranked teams continue their push for silverware, Kenya 7s have been pushed into the 9th-place bracket after failing to reach the Cup quarter-finals.
In the men’s Cup quarter-finals, Australia face France at 16:30, Fiji take on South Africa at 16:52, New Zealand meet Great Britain at 17:14, while USA clash with Spain at 17:36 (East African Time)
The women’s Cup quarter-finals will also see key matchups, with Pool B Runner-Up facing Pool C Runner-Up at 18:28, Pool A Winner playing the 2nd Best 3rd Place at 18:50, Pool C Winner meeting Pool A Runner-Up at 19:12, and Pool B Winner taking on the Best 3rd Place team at 19:34.

For Kenya, attention now shifts to the men’s 9th-place semi-final where they will face Germany at 20:06, while Argentina meet Uruguay at 20:28 in the other fixture. Shujaa’s focus will now be on finishing as high as possible in the classification bracket to protect their overall SVNS Championship standing.
Sunday’s schedule will feature a full slate of classification matches and finals across both men’s and women’s competitions. The 9th-place play-offs will begin at 12:34, followed by the Cup semi-finals at 13:30 and 14:14, before the tournament concludes with the Cup finals in the evening.
