Kabras Sugar RFC have handed Brian Tanga and Kevin Wekesa spots in the matchday 23 ahead of their Kenya Cup semi-final clash against Blak Blad at Kakamega Showground on Saturday, with kickoff set for 3:00 p.m.

Jackson Siketi earns a starting role in yet another semi-final, marking his first Kenya Cup start of 2026 after recovering from a concussion. Siketi, who starred in last year’s semi-final with two tries and an assist, starts on the wing in the absence of Griffin Chao, who features in the Eric Shirley Shield.

He joins a back three that includes Eric Cantona at fullback and Mathias Osimbo on the right wing.

In midfield, Walter Okoth returns to partner Derrick Ashihundu after missing the Enterprise Cup outing due to a trip to Hong Kong.

Roy Maruti starts at scrum-half, while Jone Kubu retains his role at fly-half.

EDITOR’S PICKS:

In the forwards, Jeanson Misoga starts at number eight after missing the Enterprise Cup semi-final due to a knock. He is joined by George Nyambua, who also returns after missing the same fixture following international duty.

Collins Indeche keeps his place on the flank following an impressive performance against Menengai Oilers in the Enterprise Cup semi-final.

The tight five sees Hillary Odhiambo partner Shem Joseph in the second row, while the front row is made up of Edward Mwaura, Eugene Sifuna, and Ephraim Oduor.

Brian Tanga and Kevin Wekesa provide options off the bench, with Patrick Sabatia, Kabras’ leading scorer this season, also named among the replacement for the first time this season.

The match will be streamed live on Scrummage Africa TV You Tube channel
