How Blak Blad line up against Kabras RFC in Kenya Cup semis

Blak Blad have named their matchday squad ahead of their historic Kenya Cup semi-final clash against Kabras RFC, as they look to upset the defending champions and book a maiden appearance in the final.

Heading into the high-stakes encounter, Blad have retained a strong core that has powered their impressive run this season.

Up front, Austin Adero, Antony Amayi, and Brian Kidake form the front row, tasked with standing firm against Kabras’ dominant scrum.

The second row pairing sees Rodgers Okoth combine with vice-captain Odhiambo Steve.  In the back row, David Njiraini slots in at blindside, Jowi Barret takes up the openside role, while Obat Kuke  anchors the scrum at number eight.

Derrick Masese starts at scrum-half, linking play and providing quick service, while Daniel Oyoo will steer the attack from fly-half.

On the wings, Winstone Ayieko and Arcadias Khwesa provide pace and finishing ability, while Elvis Otete starts at fullback, offering cover at the back and a counter-attacking option.

In midfield, vice-captain Claude Nyamiro partners David Ochieng.  Blak Blad have also named a bench that could prove decisive, with Moses Ayieko, Collins Obure, Edwin Obare, Henry Juma, Bryson Ogamba, Peter Musyoki, Benjamin Rugar, and George Ambale all set to provide fresh legs and tactical flexibility.
