Siaya County 7s rugby pools announced

Siaya County 7s Pools have been announced ahead of the secondary school matches set for Thursday, 20 to 22 June 2024 at Chianda School grounds.

In pool A, the defending Champions and Nyanza Region Champions St Mary’s Yala will be seeking their third consecutive County title in the sevens games after dominating in the past two years post covid.

Siaya County 7s Pool A

Yala will be keen to win Pool A which will have them participate in the semifinals. First, they will have to clash with Chianda, Bondo Township and Sirembe RFC in the group stages

Pool B will feature Ambira, Ugenya, Barding and Sawagongo who will also strive for the top two slots to proceed to the semi-finals.

In the girls’ games, Pool A will have Rarieda1, Sidindi, Sirembe and Bondo township lock horns as each team strive for the top position

Pool B will comprise Nyamira, Usinda, Mbaga and Rarieda 2 who will also contest as each team aims to have a lead on their side.
