The deadlock was broken by scrum-half Philip Patrick, whose quick thinking off a scrum-down allowed him to seize the ball and sprint to score the sole try of the match.

Philip Patrick’s decisive play proved to be the heroics that secured Maseno School’s victory and extended their reign as the dominant force in the county rugby scene.

Both Maseno School and Otieno Oyoo had already secured their spots in the upcoming Nyanza Region games prior to the final.
