Owila, Shaban get 1st starts for KCB Rugby ahead of Kisumu trip

KCB Rugby Head coach Curtis Olago has unveiled his side that will be travelling down to Kisumu to play against Kisumu RFC over the weekend at Kisumu Polytechnic.

The bankers who are on a winning run will be seeking to continue their dominance as they play the newbies. He has made some changes with Martin Owila getting his first start this season and veteran Darwin Mukidza not featuring in the squad.

The front row of Oscar Simiyu, Captain Griffin Musila and Wilhite Mususi will maintain their positions. Andy Cole Omollo returns to the starting and will pair with Davis Chenge in the second row. Martin Owila takes Elvis Olukusi’s spot at the blind side flank with Mannaseh Oduor being the open side flanker. The number eight will be Felix Ojoo.

Samuel Asati drops back to the bench with Emmanuel Opondo coming in as the scrumhalf. Shaban Ahmed is also introduced in as the fly-half for his first start of the season as Brian Wahinya misses out. The wings have Festus Shiasi on the left and Austin Sikutwa on the right. Lionel Ajeliti is the fullback. Bob Muhati and Vincent Onyala will form the midfield partnership.
