RFUEA Grounds to host double header as Kenya Cup enters week 7

The Kenya Cup 2023/2024 season matchday seven fixtures have been confirmed and the six matches will take place in different venues in the country on Saturday, February 3 2024.

There will be an early kick-off whereby Nondies will face off with Strathmore Leos at RFUEA Grounds at 2:00 p.m. The late kick-off at 4:00 p.m. will see Menengai Oilers travel to Nairobi to lock horns with Kenya Harlequin the match will be played at the RFUEA grounds.

The rest of the matches are set to be played from 3:00 pm and the league leaders Kabras RFC set to face off with Nakuru at the Kakamega Showground. Kabras will be keen to extend their fine run this season which has seen them win all their openers.

At the KCB Sports Club, KCB Rugby welcome Kenyatta University’s Blak Blad who are in fifth place on the log. The match comes at a time when the bankers have amassed 29 points while Blad have two wins.

Bottom-placed Homeboyz welcome Kisumu RFC at Jamhuri Grounds while at Catholic university grounds, Catholic Monks will be seeking maximum points as they welcome Mwamba RFC.

As the Kenya Cup action intensifies Derrick Ashiundu of Kabras RFC is the leading try scorer earning 10 tries to his name and Beldad Ogeta of Menengai Oilers closely follows him with nine tries.

Lameck Ambetsa of Kabras RFC has scored 7 tries. Festus Shiasi of KCB RFC has scored 6 tries so far.
