Blak Blad have named separate squads for this weekend’s Juja 7s and Ruff N Tuff 7s as they intensify preparations for the 2026 National Sevens Circuit.
Among the notable inclusions in the Juja 7s squad is exciting former Kabarak University talent Aden Noor, who has earned a place in the 13-man team.
Noor has established himself as one of the promising young players in the university game, captaining Kabarak University on several occasions and impressing with his leadership and all-round performances.
His selection presents another opportunity to showcase his abilities on the club stage.
The Juja 7s squad, which will be led by co-captains Bryson Ogamba and Elvis Otete, also features Henry Juma, Meja Mulongo, Derrick Masese, Benjamin Rugar, Edwin Obare, Godwill Oluoch and Bilton Mbalani among others.
Arcadias Khwesa, Claude Nyamiro, Brian Shile and Brandon Wekesa make up the technical bench for the tournament, which will be held on July 11-12 at the Graveyard Grounds inside JKUAT.
For the Ruff N Tuff 7s at Ngong Racecourse on Saturday, July 11, DJ Wechuli will captain the side with Abel Oyaro serving as vice-captain.
The squad includes Richard Nixon, Wekesa Frank, George Ambale, Dawa Cyprian, Okoth Onyango, Agura Ian, Caleb Emmanuel, Dennis Simiyu, Lawrence Biwot and Gabriel Otete.
John Wanga, Shuaib Wesonga, Pedro Momanyi and Dutches Awour comprise the technical bench for the Ngong-based tournament.
The twin assignments offer Blak Blad a chance to test their squad depth, integrate emerging talents and fine-tune combinations ahead of the start of the 2026 National Sevens Circuit.
