The curtain came down on an action-packed 2026 Prinsloo 7s at the Nakuru Athletics Club, with outstanding individual performers recognized for their exceptional displays throughout the tournament.
Fresh from leading KCB Rugby to their first Prinsloo 7s title since 2017, Elvis Lukusi was named Player of the Final after producing a commanding performance in the bankers’ 19-12 victory over Kabras RFC. Lukusi’s leadership and decisive try in the final proved instrumental in KCB’s successful title charge.

Despite Kabras RFC finishing as runners-up, Rayvon Ambale enjoyed a remarkable tournament, walking away with two individual accolades. The explosive back finished as both the Top Try Scorer and Top Points Scorer in the men’s competition after consistently tormenting opposition defences with his pace, creativity, and clinical finishing. His performances were key to Kabras’ run to the Cup final.
In the women’s competition, Mwamba RFC Ladies dominated the individual honours following their impressive campaign. Irine Opiyo was crowned the Top Points Scorer, underlining her importance to Mwamba’s attacking success throughout the tournament.
Her teammate Edith Nariaka capped off a stellar weekend by being named Player of the Final, recognizing her outstanding influence in Mwamba Ladies’ triumph and her decisive contribution on the biggest stage.
