National 7s Circuit champions Mwamba RFC Ladies successfully defended their Prinsloo 7s title after defeating Kiambaa Ladies 19-0 in the final at Nakuru Athletics Club.

The final was a closely contested affair in the opening half, with the youthful Kiambaa side producing a resilient defensive display to frustrate the defending champions.

However, Kenyan international Faith Livoi eventually broke the deadlock, powering her way through the defence to score the opening try and hand Mwamba a 5-0 halftime lead.

Mwamba stepped up their intensity after the break. Irene Opiyo burst down the left wing before racing clear to score a converted try, extending the lead to 12-0.
