The Quarterfinal pairings for the Challenger Series opener going on in Dubai have been confirmed ahead of the evening matches at the 7s stadium.
After suffering the first loss which ended their 14-match winning streak, Kenya 7s wil return to action with a match against Japan.
Challenger Series faceoff
The two sides were relegated from World 7s Series last season during the 2023 campaign and will be keen to win their quarterfinal date to keep their hopes of making it to the top four alive. The match will start at 6:05 p.m East African time.
Uruguay also relegated last year have a quarterfinal date against Tonga who featured in the relegation/promotion playoffs.

Germany who ended Kenya 7s fine run in the competition will battle for a place in the semis against Hong Kong.
The final match will see Chile play against Georgia as they also chase a place in the semis slated for Sunday.
