The Kenya Rugby Union has unveiled the fixtures for the upcoming 2023/24 Kenya Cup season, set to kick off on November 25, 2023.
In a departure from the previous three seasons, this edition will feature 16 matchdays, reintroducing the home-and-away format for clubs within the same pool.
Kenya Cup dates
The regular season is slated to run until April 2024, paving the way for playoffs, semifinals, and the final. Notably, this season marks the return of the Top Six playoffs, where teams ranked third to sixth at the conclusion of the regular season will vie for semifinal qualification.

The defending champions, Kabras, are scheduled to commence their campaign against Kisumu RFC, while Mwamba will host Blak Blad on the opening day.

Additional matchups on day one include Homeboyz against Menengai Oilers, KCB hosting Nondescript, Strathmore Leos facing Nakuru, and Catholic Monks taking on Kenya Harlequin.
Kabras will go on to face Menengai Oilers on matchday two and KCB on matchday six.

The teams securing the first and second positions at the conclusion of the regular season will earn direct home semifinal berths.
It’s worth noting that the two bottom-placed teams at the end of the regular season will face relegation.
