“It’s with great sadness to announce the passing of our Physio Felix Kioko. Felix’s passion for the team will always be remembered. He dedicated his time and resources to helping players on and off the pitch.

“His quick response in case of injuries. His urge to make the players ready before each match. He will forever be remembered as a dedicated Makueni RFC physio. May he RIP,” reads a club statement.

According to the Team manager Emmanue Kilanzo, Felix joined Makueni RFC in 2017, playing as a scrum-half/fly-half. His first season was the 2017/2018 season and later played in the season 2018/2019.

While part of the technical bench, the team won overall division National 7s title in 2019 and 2022. He passed on on Saturday.
