Tanzania 15s unveil 30-man squad ahead of Irish side Railway Union date

Tanzania 15s  Head Coach Tim Kasten has released a 30-man squad that is getting ready for Wednesday’s 27 July match against Irish side Railway Union at 6:00 PM at Mao Zedong Stadium in Zanzibar.

The 30 players are in an intense camp in Zanzibar as the side works to return to action.   The 30 players were selected through tournaments held in Dar es Salaam, Iringa, Arusha, Kilimanjaro and Zanzibar.

The Tanzanians are set to make a return to the International Rugby Scene after 16 years of absence.

“This Wednesday is going to be fire. National XV’s Rugby squad that will play against Railway Uniom from Ireland on the 27th of July 2022 at Mau zedong’s Stadium in Stone Town, Zanzibar kicking off at 18:30. We wish the Team all the best,” the Union  announced.

Arusha Rhinos have dominated the squad with seven players included. Dar Cubs have six of their players included while Ukonga Killer Bees, Arusha Dumas, Dodoma Dragons, Tanga Titans, Paje Pirates, Mwanza Rocks Lizards have all contributed players to the squad.

Besides having this match, TRU has prepared 60 coaches to oversee the grassroots-level projects.
