The Uganda Rugby Union has confirmed the pools for the Stone City 7s, the opening leg of the 2025 Uganda Rugby 7s Series.
The tournament is scheduled for 25–26 July at Ruck Yard Sports Club, with Jinja Hippos RFC hosting the opening round.
The 12 participating teams have been drawn into three pools of four. Hosts Jinja Hippos RFC headline Pool A alongside Walukuba Barbarians, Rhinos RFC, and Victoria Sharks.
Pool B features traditional powerhouses Heathens RFC and Kobs RFC, who are joined by Plascon Mongers and Mbale Elephants. In Pool C, Buffaloes RFC will battle Black Pirates RFC, Eagles RFC, and Rams RFC.

he Stone City 7s will kick off the Uganda Rugby 7s Series before the circuit moves to King’s Park Arena for the Rujumba 7s on 1–2 August, with Black Pirates RFC hosting the second leg.
Following a short break, the series will continue with the Kyadondo 7s, scheduled for 22–23 August at Kyadondo Rugby Grounds in partnership with Heathens RFC.
