MMUST RFC have unveiled their squad for the Prinsloo 7s, with the return of Tyson Juma and the inclusion of several exciting new faces highlighting the team’s selection ahead of the opening leg of the 2026 National Sevens Circuit.
Juma makes a welcome return to the squad after finishing last season strongly, with his impressive performances earning him another opportunity to feature for the university side.
His experience is expected to provide stability as MMUST look to make a positive start to their campaign.
Among the headline inclusions is Desmond Kirwa, who is set to make his debut and is expected to take up the scrum-half role.
The youngster is one of five new faces named in the travelling squad.

Also earning their first call-ups are Alwine Kwemoi, Job Otieno, Cyrus Toroitich, and Rooney Kelly, underlining the club’s commitment to blending emerging talent with experienced campaigners.
Head coach John Asila has retained a strong core that includes Bevon Okoth, Ryan Makaka, Donald Litali, Flavian Otiyo, Clarence Hope, Victor Shikuku, and Musa Mugandi as MMUST seek to make an early statement in Nakuru.
MMUST have been drawn in a competitive Pool B, where they will face Strathmore Leos, Daystar Falcons, and Kisumu RFC in what promises to be a challenging group.
