Menengai Oilers RFC have unveiled a formidable 14-man squad for the 2026 Prinsloo 7s, set to take place on 25–26 July at the Nakuru Athletics Club.
The Nakuru-based side enters the opening leg of the 2026 National Sevens Circuit with a strong squad ready to chase the tittle.
The club has entrusted Bildad Ogeta and Glacious Owino with the captaincy, naming the duo as co-captains for the tournament. Their leadership and experience will be key as the Oilers seek to build momentum from the opening round.

Menengai Oilers have also included four players who are set to make their tournament debuts. Moses Ajak, Veron Kaburu, Wilson Tonya, and Glacious Owino will all be making their first Prinsloo 7s appearances for the club.
Among the newcomers, Veron Kaburu recently joined the Oilers from MMUST RFC, while Wilson Tonya arrives with an impressive reputation after representing the Kenya Under-20 side and being named the Most Valuable Player (MVP) at the 2025 Scrummage 7s.
Moses Ajak also returns to the club after a loan spell at Kabarak University RFC, providing added depth to the squad.
Another player expected to play a pivotal role is Alvin Khavoli, who finished as the top points scorer in the 2025/26 Kenya Cup season.
