Strathmore Leos have continued to invest in youth ahead of the 2026/27 season after unveiling 10 new signings, while Catholic Monks and Homeboyz RFC have also strengthened their squads during the latest transfer window.
The Kenya Cup side has opted for a blend of fresh talent and university performers as it looks to build a squad capable of challenging for domestic honours.
Among the headline arrivals are Charles Wangwe Owino and Dennis Mutembei, who both join from Catholic Monks after impressive performances in the university ranks.
The remainder of Strathmore’s recruitment has come through the New Player Registration (NPR) category, with Emmanuel Otweyo, Jayden Mukisa, Patrick Ochieng, Nigel Aggrey Okoko, Kenneth Ndiritu Kamau, Alvin Orina, Brill Anik Otenga, and Patrick Kluivert Ochieng all joining the club.

Meanwhile, Catholic Monks have brought in two reinforcements following the departure of Wangwe and Mutembei. The university side has signed Ezekiel Apida from Kisumu RFC and Alvin Mutua Musembi from Northern Suburbs as they prepare for the new campaign.
Homeboyz RFC have also been active in the market, adding 14 new players in a recruitment drive aimed at strengthening every department of the squad.
Leading the arrivals is former Nakuru RFC player Leon Francis Oloo, while Charles Kinage Maina joins from NYS Spades. The Deejays have also recruited Emmanuel Okello Onyango, Brian Kemboi Kipkosgei, and Hezron Kiptoo from Moi University, further tapping into the university talent pool.
The rest of Homeboyz’s new faces have been registered through the New Player Registration category. They include Martin Njiru Gitau, Valentine Omollo Omondi, David Omondi Ochieng, Charles Wanjohi, Ian Njoroge Njoroge, Hoka Athuman Mashua, Telvynn Gyph Allongo, Jonathan Mwongela Bernard, and Elvis Kevin Ochieng.
