Ayimba, Amaitsa in as Strathmore Leos name squad for MMUST

Strathmore Leos have unveiled their matchday squad ahead of their fixture against MMUST RFC scheduled for Saturday, 28th February at MMUST Grounds.

The Madaraka-based side have named Raymond Chaha and Dennis Tubei to pack down in the front row alongside Jack Angawa. In the second row, Thomas Opio partners Stanslaus Shikoli.

The back row features Duke Odenyo and Samuel Wafula on the flanks, with Barnabas Owuor controlling matters at number eight.

At halfback, Brian Mwendwa starts at scrum-half and will combine with Arnold Muita at fly-half as the Leos seek to dictate tempo and territory. Out wide, Collins Maina and Gabriel Ayimba occupy the wings, while Salim Owino provides cover at fullback.

The midfield pairing of Morgan Ochiel and Elton Amalemba. The Leos have also named a strong bench to provide impact in the latter stages. Maxwell Atera, Almasi Wachira, Ian Masheti, and Jaden Oyier offer cover in the forwards, while Charles Onyisi, Nahashon Mwangemi, Nygel Amaitsa, and Shem Okola strengthen the backline options.

Strathmore Leos will be keen to win on the road to keep playoffs hopes alive.
