Strathmore Leos RFC have been thrown into mourning following the passing of their forward Felix Ouma, fondly known as “Chano”.
The club confirmed Ouma’s death through an official statement released on the second day of 2026, describing him as a brother, teammate and fan favourite whose impact went beyond the pitch. The cause of death was not disclosed by the club.
“Gone too soon. We mourn the passing of our brother, teammate and fan favorite, Felix Ouma ‘Chano’. A leader, a fighter, and a joy to be around, loved by all who knew him. Rest easy, Chano. Forever a Leo XXVII,” read part of the statement from Strathmore Leos.
