NYS Spades, MKU Thika, N Suburbs secure wins in Prinsloo 7s Div II round 1

NYS Spade, Northern Suburbs, and MKU Thika have made strong statements in Prinsloo 7s after securing round-one victories in the final leg of the National 7s Circuit.

Second-place NYS Spades are determined to maintain their position, starting their day with a commanding 19-0 win over Rongai Morans.

Northern Suburbs also impressed, defeating Presbyterian University 22-7, while MKU Thika earned a 17-5 victory over Kisii Kifaru.

In other matches, Embu RFC claimed a 19-12 win over Jackals, and the AP Warriors dominated first-timers Nandi Bears with a 29-0 victory.

JKUAT Cougars overpowered KCA University with a 28-0 win, while Eldoret RFC, making their first appearance in this year’s circuit, fell short 25-7 against Ngong Warriors.

Debutants Project 61 showcased resilience, holding a tough match and sharing the spoils in a 12-12 draw with Homeboyz Rugby.
