Kenyan forward Odhiambo maintains top spot on Uganda Rugby Championship top try scorers log

Kenyan forward Andrew Odhiambo has maintained the top spot in the Uganda Rugby Championship top try scorer’s table after the second round quarter-finals.

Odhiambo, who is a former Western Bulls player, plays for the Hippos and has maintained his top streak with 11 tries.

Kobs’ Muwanguzi Benjamin has made an appearance on the scorers’ board as he takes over Amollo Michael’s second place with 10 tries.

Heathens’ Michael Wokorach has maintained his third place on the log with 9 tries above fourth place Oyet Joseph.

The women’s log has seen Black Pearls’ Emilly Lekuru taking the lead with 64 tries above Avengers’ Akello Christine who is ranked second with 12 tries sharing with Blackpearls’ Nakato Mary and Thunderbirds’ Zziwa Angela who are third and fourth respectively.

Setting no difference on the point scorers, Emily Lekuru is still in the lead with 320 points above teammate Mudoola Charlotte who is second with 113 points.

Avengers’ Akello Christine has also appeared in third position with 60 points above Blackpearls’ Nakato Mary who also shares the 60 points.

The Men’s log has seen Odrua Robin holding the top spot with 157 points above Ivan Kirabo who is second with 117 points.

Yassin Wasswa is third with 116 points while Heathens’ Malcom Okello holds the fourth position with 96 points.

The Championship matches are set for a dual semi-finals challenge which will see the Hippos taking on Pirates while Kobs take on the Heathens.
