Kisumu Girls’ Coach Paul Nyamita has finalized the squad for the upcoming KSSSA National 15s matches scheduled to commence on Tuesday in Machakos.

Nyamita aims for his 25-player team to excel in the inaugural 15s competition, which will coincide with the boys’ event.

As the founder of Demystified English Kenya, Coach Nyamita emphasizes a game-by-game approach, with their primary goal being to lead their pool.

“All our game plans are working, it is execution time, a game at a time, and the objective is to top pool A,” he stated to Scrummage Africa.

In Group A, Kisumu Girls will face off against St Joseph Girls Kitale, Mwira Girls, and Kivandini Girls.

Meanwhile, Group B comprises Katwanyaa Girls from Eastern, Paul Harris Girls from Coast, Hidden Talent from Nairobi, and Kinale Girls from Central.

Kisumu Girls secured the Nyanza region rugby 15s title in a thrilling match against Koru Girls, emerging victorious with a 6-0 scoreline through precise penalty conversions by captain Laureen Atieno, who was voted the Most Valuable Player. This victory showcased the team’s prowess as they make their mark on the national stage.
