Uganda Rugby Championship table after match day 5

Heathens maintain the top position on the table after four rounds of victory and one draw in the Uganda Rugby Championship.

They sit with 21 points and enjoy a superior point difference of 176. In their fifth round, they showed determination which enabled them to enjoy a great victory of 70-06 against the Rams.

Rhinos are one point below Heathens with a point difference of 42. Rhinos have enjoyed five consecutive victories since the opening match of the Championship. In their fifth round, they won the match against Walukuba with a narrow score of 27-24.

Position three is occupied by Hippos who have 16 points. Hippos have experienced three wins, one draw with a single loss in the five rounds played. In their fifth round, they got a victory of 27-13 against the Eagles.

Pirates are position five placed with 15 points after their five rounds. In their previous match, they suffered a loss against Mongers, after they conceded 20 points and scored 17.

Kobs are at position five with 14 points. They have a point difference of 32 after playing all five rounds. Kobs’ game against Buffaloes which was their fifth ended up levelled at 19-19.

Mongers are position six placed with one point less than Kobs. Mongers bagged victory in their fifth. They now have three victories and suffered two losses since the opening of the Championship.

Buffaloes are position seven with 12 points after the five rounds. They are closely followed by Barbarians with 11 points. Walukuba suffered their third loss in the fifth round against the Rhinos after they conceded 27 and scored 24.

Impis are number nine placed on the log with seven points having played five rounds. They experienced their first draw which was against Warriors since the championship was opened.

Warriors, Eagles and Rams are the three bottom teams with 7, 4 and 1 points respectively. Rams are at the bottom with a point and are sitting with an inferior point difference of -109. Rams suffered their fifth loss against Heathens.
