MMUST, Bulls share spoils in Kakamega Derby, Daystar, Impala win

MMUST Rugby and Western Bulls ended their Kakamega Derby match in a 3-3 draw at the MMUST grounds.

The intense game saw MMUST take an early lead with a penalty kick converted by Washington Ombima. However, the Western Bulls quickly responded with Allan Kasiti converting a penalty to level the score before halftime.

In the second half, despite several opportunities, both teams failed to capitalize on penalties, with kicks going wide for MMUST’s Paul Odongo and Veron Kaburu.

The match ended in a deadlock as neither team could break the tie, with the final score remaining 3-3.

Elsewhere, Daystar Falcons secured a 24-10 victory over USIU Martial, while Impala emerged victorious against Kabarak University.
