Kabras RFC head coach Carlos Katywa has made five adjustments to his starting lineup in preparation for their upcoming match against Blad Blad at Kenyatta University Grounds.

Due to the continued absence of key members of the backline, including Brian Tanga, Jone Kubu, Derrick Ashihundu, Bryceson Adaka, and Mathias Osimbo, Katywa has been forced to implement several positional changes for the third consecutive weekend.

Lamec Ambetsa’s inclusion in the Kenya 7s final squad has left the coach with limited options.

In response to these challenges, Eric Cantona will be starting on the right wing, transitioning from his previous role at fullback

Alfred Orege has been shifted to inside centre, with Brian Mutua taking his place in the starting lineup following the absence of Walter Okoth.

EDITOR’S PICKS:

Ntabeni Dukisa will assume the fullback position, while Humphrey Asiligwa will retain his spot on the left wing. Dan Angwech and Barry Robinson maintain their roles at scrum-half and fly-half, respectively.

Despite some changes in the pack, most members are available for selection. However, William Mwanji and Kevin Wekesa are unavailable.

Emmanuel Otieno, Teddy Akala, Ephraim Oduor, and Hillary Odhiambo join the tight five as Eugene Sifuna, Edward Mwaura, Asuman Mugerwa and Brian Juma drop to the bench,

David Bunduki will partner with Odhiambo in the second row. Patrick Lumumba, George Nyambua, and Jeanson Misoga retain their positions in the back row, providing stability and continuity in the pack.

Paul Abuto is the only back on the bench with this being the second weekend they are using a 7-1 split on the bench.
