After the break, Strathmore Leos got their first points of the match after they successfully landed a penalty goal for a 17-3 score. KCB responded with a penalty try before Rocky Aguko touched down off the back of their powerful scrum.

Brian Wahinya would add another try for the hosts after he sold a dummy just close to Leos’s tryline and dived over for a 36-3 score. Leos added a penalty goal moments later and try in the corner to take the score to 36-11.

The rain that had pounded the city hampered the game’s progress as both sides struggled to get the game going. KCB would hold on to win their fifth consecutive game of the season.
