Western Bulls include ex-Kenya U20 skipper in squad for UoE match

After a poor start to the season, Western Bulls went ahead and made some significant signings from neighbouring Kabras RFC and have named a number of them for the match against UoE Trojans at the Bull Ring.

They will be looking to bounce back to winning ways this weekend while facing off with varsity side UOE.

Seven new players have a chance for an appearance they include former Kenya U20 John Baraka, Robert Murunga, Allan Otieno, Brevia Mbukenya, Mike Omondi and Samuel Wafula who joined from Kabras on a loan deal.

Royvonne Wasike and Bukenya are the day’s props with Mike Omondi being the hooker. The second row sees Elvis Waka pairing with captain Brian Okute.

Long-term Bulls flanker Saidi Osieko will be on the blind side and Murunga on the open-side flank.

Former u20 skipper Baraka comes in at number eight. Former Kabras half-back who made his move to the Bullring during the January transfer, Felix Bukutse will be the scrum half.

Veteran Allan Kasiti dons the 10 jersey. The wing has Emmanuel Efedha on the left wing and Meshach Okari on the right wing

Otieno and Dan Kibet will partner in the midfield as inside and outside centres respectively. Gascoigne Muganzi will be the fullback having previously featured for Homeboyz.
