JKUAT head Coach Newton Partet has named his 23-man squad to take on Impala Rugby in the KRU Championship on Saturday 13th January 2024 in the JKUAT Grounds at 3 pm.
Davies Masinga who is set to lead the squad in the KRU Championship duty will start at fullback. He will be joined by left winger Japheth Okello and Steven Ayiemba at right wing.
The half-backs will be Mike Makau (scrum-half) and Japeth Okello (fly half) who will work alongside inside centre Jeff Ojuok and outside centre Douglas Kahuri.
Philip Macharia will start as hooker and will join loosehead prop Kelvin Murimi together with tight head David Mukuna.
JKUAT’S second row will feature Liyala Janai and vice-captain Houstone Omondi. The left flanker will be Willy Tino while Powell Otolo will be the right flanker and finally, Gudwin Gichovi will start at number 8.
Victor Muteti, Bonnke Mwangi, Danvine Otieno, Clyde Nyayoto, Kamau Samuel, Charles Kimani, Zaddock Musyoki and Karl Omitto will make the experienced bench.
