Kenya Cup side KCB Rugby celebrated its players at the Rugby Awards held during a team bonding session on Friday.
In the Lions Rugby Awards, Samuel Asati claimed two honours, being named the best player and best back, while Elvis Olukusi earned recognition as the best forward. The Leadership Award went to the retired captain, Curtis Lilako. The award winners were awarded trophies and Ksh. 25,000.
KCB Rugby Fans awards
In the KCB Rugby Fans Award, Darwin Mukidza was crowned Player of the Season in the Kenya Cup, and Bramwel Kilwake received the Player of the Season award for ESS.

Brian Wahinya was honoured as the Best Player in the National 7s Circuit, and Michael Wamalawa was named the Player of the Impala Floodlit 2023.
Curtis Lilako was also acknowledged for his exemplary service as a Captain from 2015 to 2023. Samuel Asati was bestowed with the Captain’s Award, while Fidel Maina was recognized as the Rookie of the Year. Additionally, Andrew Amonde and George Asin were both honoured as retirees.
