Uganda make 4 changes for Kenya Simbas test

Uganda’s coach Fred Mudola has made four changes for the Victoria Cup final match to be played on Sunday 5th November 2023 at Kings Park.

The forward has Props Santos Senteza and Kabras RFC Asuman Mugerwa who comes in for Collins Kimbowa. Faragi Odugo retains his place and will play as the hooker.

Charles Uhuru  Odong and Kabras RFC’s Eliphaz Emong form the second row.  The back row will have Blankside flanker Byron Oketayot who is also the vice-captain.

Moses Zziwa comes in as the open-side flanker for the dropped Joaquim Chisano.  In the third change, Sydney Gondodyo is the number 8 whereas Mark Omoding has also been dropped.

Scrum-half Conrad Wanyama who is also the team’s vice-captain while captain Ivan Magomu is the fly-half.

Eric Mulamula is the inside centre whereas Michael Wakorach is the outside centre. Jacob Ocen remains on the left wing while Joseph Oyet replaces Shakim Ssembusi on the right wing who also misses the matchday squad. Timothy Kisiga remains as the fullback.

The bench has Nathan Bwambale, Ivan Kabagambe, Saul Kivumbi, Robert Aziku, Frank Kidega, Nicholas Kato, Alhaji Manano and Liam Walker.
