Kenya Simbas to play Kenya Cup Champions Kabras RFC in a friendly

Kenya Simbas will play Kenya Cup Champions Kabras RFC in a pre-season at Kakamega Showground.

The match is scheduled for Thursday 26 October and is scheduled to kick off at 11:00 am.  The two will be using the match to prepare for the upcoming November action.

Kenya Simbas will be returning to action in November for the Victoria Cup.  The Kenya Simbas will make their way to Kampala, with their arrival set for October 30, and they will kick off their campaign against Zambia at Kyadondo on November 1.

Meanwhile, the Uganda Cranes will commence their journey by facing Zambia at King’s Park Arena in Bweyogerere on 28 October.

A key highlight in the schedule is the showdown between the Simbas and the Uganda Cranes, set for November 5 at King’s Park Arena. This match will also serve as the first leg of the Elgon Cup.

The Simbas will subsequently travel back for the Elgon Cup return leg, scheduled for November 11, 2023.

Kabras on the other hand are preparing for the Kenya Cup campaign set to commence a month from now.  The Sugarmen are without 16 players who are with the Simbas and four more who are with Kenya 7s.
