Menengai Oilers Head coach Gibson Weru has named his squad that will be out to face hosts Impala Rugby in the 40th edition of the Impala floodlit tournament, a match scheduled to kick off at 4:10 pm at Impala grounds.
In the front row, new acquisition Celestine Mboi who joins the Oilmen from Daystar Falcons will be leading the front row at the hooker. Mboi will be partnering with Edward Mwaura at the loosehead prop with Vincent Mwikhali at the tighthead prop.

Jardon Abdon will also be looking to have his first start in the green and blue jersey. Abdon who used to turn up for relegated side MMUST RFC comes in and will be leading the backrowers.

Brian Ndirangu will be donning the number seven jersey. The experienced back row will be with Were Samuel who will be the number 8.
Elkeans Musonye is on the bench and is eagerly waiting for his time to represent the green and blue army. He had his debut but in the 7s.
In the second row, the captain of the day, Ayoo Ibrahim will lock with Osgood Charles. Khavoli Alvin who is also a new signing gets his start at 14.
Odera Andrew and Abutwalib Wesonga are tasked with the halfback’s positions at 9 and 10 respectively. Wesonga gets his chance in the absence of Geoffrey Ominde.

Oketch Tony will be the fullback of this game. In midfield, Johnston Mung’au partners with Arunga Steve. Herbert Ochieng’ occupies the other wing at 11.
Mukoyani Kevin will be the hooker replacement with Kelvin Masibo and Allan Ochieng’ who is looking to make his debut will be the props replacement.

Ongili Argwins who is also a new signing is a lock replacement. Veteran scrum-half Samson Onsomu will be coming in from the bench. Njenga Felix and Ogutu Erick will be donning jerseys 22 and 23 respectively.
