Nondies legends name travelling squad for Battle of Veterans match in Uganda

Nondies Legends, a renowned rugby team comprised of former players, has unveiled their squad that will be traveling to Uganda for an exciting Battle of Legends match against the Uganda Vets.

The highly anticipated encounter is scheduled to take place at the Kyadondo Rugby Club on Saturday, May 27.

Head Coach Oscar Osir has assembled a star-studded lineup, including some of Kenya’s rugby greats. Among the notable names in the squad are former Kenya Sevens captains Andrew Amonde and Humphrey Kayange.

The squad also features the dynamic duo from KCB Rugby, George Asin and Oliver Mang’eni and Edwins Makori, a seasoned veteran from Nakuru RFC.

Notable additions to the squad include Lavin Asego, the former Kenya Sevens playmaker known for his exceptional skills and tactical awareness. Tito Oduk, the former Director of Rugby at Mwamba RFC, George Mbaye, the former Chairman of Mwamba.

Moses Mukabane, Director of Kenya Simbas, and Victor Sudi, Chairman of Kenya Harlequin are also part of the squad that will captaineed by Eddie Omondi.

All eyes will be on the Kyadondo Rugby Club as the Nondies Legends take on the Uganda Vets in what is sure to be a riveting encounter. Rugby fans from both nations eagerly anticipate this clash of titans, as they come together to witness the magic of the sport and relive the glory days of these rugby legends.
