Mwamba RFC Women’s coach, Joseph Baabu Odindi, and Maseno University coach, Shellan Nyawira, have reached a significant milestone in their coaching careers by attaining World Rugby Level 2 (15s) accreditation.

The achievement places them among a growing list of coaches in Kenya who have obtained this accreditation. Kenya Rugby Union (KRU) proudly announced their accomplishment through a statement shared on its social media platforms.

In their statement, KRU congratulated Baabu Odindi and Shellan Nyawira on their successful completion of the World Rugby Level 2 (15s) accreditation.

The two join the ranks of recently accredited coaches, including former KCB Rugby players Oliver Mang’eni Kizito and Brian Omondi, David Weru, Maseno’s Sebastian Makalel Ochieng, and Blak Blad’s Brian Kibet.

Coaches such as Allan Kasiti from Western Bulls, Max Adaka from Kabras RFC 7s, Felix Ayange, and Kevin Amiani, Head Coach of South Coast Pirates, have also achieved World Rugby Level 2 accreditation.
