Kabras RFC vs Homeboyz clash postponed

The Kenya Cup encounter pitting holders Kabras RFC and Homeboyz has been postponed.

According to league organizers, Kenya Cup, the match which was slated for 7 January at Kakamega Showground will be played on a later dater.

Kabras RFC-Homeboyz postponed 

Reason for the postponement of the clash were not revealed by the Union.

“The Kenya Cup match day five clash between defending champions Kabras Sugar and Homeboyz has been postponed to a later date,” the Union announced.

“The two sides were set to meet at the Kakamega Showground on Saturday 7 January 2023,” the statement further reads.

Kabras are currently placed third on the log with 19 points from 4 wins in 4 matches while Homeboyz are currently ranked sixth with 9 points after 2 wins and 2 loses.

The rest of the matches are expected to go on as planned with Kenya Cup log leaders KCB Rugby set to be at KCB Sport Club where they will entertain their Thika Road rivals Blak Blad in a 3:00 PM kick-off.

Other matches scheduled for the City will see  Catholic Monks host Kenya Harlequin at Catholic University Grounds.

Kisia vs Kulabu

Strathmore Leos will play Mwamba at Madaraka Grounds as Louis Kisia reunites with his former employers Kulabu.

The final match scheduled for the City will see winless sides Mean Machine and MMUST face off at UoN Grounds as they seek to rise from the bottom of the log.

In Nakuru, fans will be treated to a Nakuru Derby pitting Menengai Oilers and Nakuru RFC. The match will see Gibson Weru face off with his former employers as he hopes to stay unbeaten.
