Rugby World Cup Sevens 2022 quarterfinal pairings

The Rugby World Cup Sevens 2022 day two will begin at 09:15 East African Time with the first of the men’s Bowl quarter-finals between Portugal and Germany.

The Women’s Challenge quarter-finals begin at 10:53 when Madagascar meet Spain.

That will be followed by Colombia v Brazil (11:15), South Africa v Japan (11:37) and Poland v China (11:59).

England face Chile in the first of the men’s Challenge quarters at 12:31, followed by Canada v Uruguay (12:53), USA v Wales (13:15) and Scotland v Kenya 7s (13:37).

Men’s bowl placement matches will take place before the semi-finals at 16:01 and 16:23.

More placement matches will precede the Challenge semi-finals at 16:49 and 17:11 (women’s) and 18:37 and 18:59 (men’s).

It will then be time for the headline action, as the Championship quarter-finals get underway.

In the women’s tournament, Australia face England at 20:07 followed by New Zealand v Ireland (21:05), France v Fiji (22:05) and USA v Canada (23:05).

For the men, New Zealand v Argentina is first up at 20:35, followed by France v Australia (21:35), Samoa v Fiji (22:35) and Ireland v South Africa (23:33).
