National 7s Circuit standings after Driftwood 7s

National Sevens Circuit defending champions KCB Rugby returned to the top of the standings after finishing third at the Driftwood 7s held in Mombasa over the weekend.

The bankers who had dropped to second after finishing as runners-up at the Christie 7s picked 17 points in Mombasa and have moved to 58 points on the log.

Strathmore Leos have dropped second with 53 points after being eliminated at the quarter for the first time this season during the Driftwood 7s.

Menengai Oilers have retained the third spot but are on level points with second-placed Strathmore but have an inferior point differential.

Driftwood 7s Champions Mwamba Rugby Club are fourth with 48 having picked maximum points in Mombasa.  Homeboyz have dropped to fifth and are 10 points behind Kulabu.

Kenya Harlequin sit sixth with 33 points after three rounds while Kabras RFC have climbed to fifth with 25 points following 10 points at the Coast.

Daystar Falcons have 24 points while Nakuru RFC and Western Bulls are tied 23 points each but separated by point difference and close the top 10.

Nondies, Impala Saracens, MMUST Rugby Club, Blak Blad, Zetech Oaks and Catholic Monks close the top 16.
