The squad has one debutante- Roderick Solo. Solo, will become the sixth new player to run out in an All Blacks Sevens jersey this season.

The squad has been boosted by the return of two Olympians. Amanaki Nicole returns from injury and while Siona Molia who had stayed in New Zealand after the birth of his first child is also back.

The squad will be captained by Sam Dickson who has Dylan Collier and Joe Webber as his assistants. Kurt Baker, Andrew Knewstubb, Moses Leo, Tim Mikkelson will miss the two events due to injury.
