KCB Rugby have completed an impressive recruitment drive ahead of the 2026/27 season, adding eight new faces as the bankers look to strengthen their bid for success in both the Kenya Cup and the National Sevens Circuit.

The new arrivals combine proven Kenya Cup experience, exciting young talent and national team pedigree, underlining KCB’s intent to remain among the country’s top rugby sides.

Headlining the recruits is Kenya 7s internationals Nygel Amaitsa and David Nyangige, who join from Strathmore and Impala RFC. Amaitsa a talented playmaker has established himself as one of the country’s most exciting backs and is expected to bring creativity, game management and attacking flair to the bankers as well as Nyangige who can play as a nine.

Former Kenya Prisons player Benson Kihiti also makes the switch to KCB, while Collins Ngoko arrives after captaining MMUST, where he earned a reputation as one of the standout leaders in university rugby.
