2025/26 KRU Championship Week 1 fixtures have been confirmed, with six matches lined up from 1:00 p.m. across six different venues.
The early kick-off will see former Kenya Cup sides Homeboyz RFC and Mean Machine battle at RFUEA Grounds as both teams look to start the season on a high.
KRU Championship debut for Mwamba
The rest of the matches kick off at 3:00 p.m. Mwamba RFC will be making their KRU Championship debut following their relegation from the top tier last season.
They face fellow debutants NYS Spades and will play at the Goan Institute for the first time since moving to the venue, which recently hosted the Women’s Kenya Cup final.
South Coast Pirates, back in the second tier, have a date against Kisii RFC, who earned promotion after winning the Nationwide League last season.

Former Kenya Cup sides Catholic Monks and Western Bulls are set to renew their rivalry at the CUEA Pavillion in Karen, while Zetech Oaks take on USIU Martials at Zetech Mang’u Campus.
