The second leg of the 2025 Legends Cup is set to take place on Saturday, 27 September at the iconic RFUEA Grounds in Nairobi, promising yet another thrilling clash between the Kenya Legends and their Ugandan counterparts.
The return fixture comes several months after the fiercely contested first leg held on 24 May at Kyadondo Rugby Club in Kampala, where Kenya Legends edged Uganda Legends 19-17 in a tight encounter. The victory added to Kenya’s recent dominance in the annual veterans’ rugby showdown.
Kenya Legends have consistently had the upper hand in the cup. In 2024, they claimed both legs of the Cup winning 24-15 at the RFUEA Grounds and following it up with a 26-15 win in Kampala, sealing a 50-30 aggregate triumph.

That success came on the back of a dominant 69-18 aggregate victory in 2023, further extending Kenya’s winning streak to four straight wins over the Ugandan Legends.

Besides the Cup ties, both sides also featured in a special fixture last year against the visiting UK Tritons, with each East African team recording wins in what was a show of regional strength.
