Senegal have named a 28-man squad for the 2025 rugby africa cup set to take place from july 8 to 20 at the mandela national stadium in kampala, uganda.
Only four players from local clubs have been named in the squad for the 2025 Rugby Africa Cup. Lom Abdoul (ASFA), Ndiaye Assane (Panthères de Yoff), Sall Ahmeth (Jambars), and Sy Abou (ASFA) are the only home-based players selected by head coach Sekou Sakho
The remainder of the squad is composed of France-based players. Team captain Demba Kane plays for St Denis, while Nelson Mendy represents Toulon. The forward pack features notable names such as Wilfrid Hounkpatin (Montpellier), Fernandez Correa (Massy), and Cheikhou Danfakha (Beauvais).
