Defending National 7s Circuit champions KCB Rugby have made five changes to their squad for the Dala 7s, with Kenya Sevens international Nygel Amaitsa and former Kabras Sugar centre Hillary Salano among the new faces.
KCB have retained nine players from the squad that featured at the season-opening Prinsloo 7s, including captain Elvis Olukusi, Vincent Onyala, George Ooro, Samuel Asati, Brian Wahinya, Festus Shiasi, Floyd Wabwire, Emmanuel Opondo and Richel Wangila.
The biggest talking point is the inclusion of Amaitsa, who joined KCB from Strathmore Leos during the off-season.
The Kenya Sevens international adds further pace and playmaking ability to an already experienced backline.

KCB had initially left him out of their Prinsloo squad, but he now makes his first Dala 7s appearance for the Bankers.
Hillary Salano is another notable addition. The utility back joins KCB as a free agent after previously featuring for Kabras Sugar, bringing top-level Kenya Cup and 7s experience to the squad.
Also returning is Bob Muhati, who was KCB’s captain during the 2025 National 7s Circuit campaign and played a key role in their Kabeberi 7s triumph.
Muhati was named Player of the Final after helping KCB to the title. He also captained the Bankers during the 2025/26 Kenya Cup season.
Meanwhile, Lionel Ajeliti and Jenkins Kipruto also come into the 14-man squad. Kipruto was part of KCB’s 2025 7s squad, while Ajeliti has also featured regularly for the Bankers in previous circuit campaigns.
The five players who featured in the Prinsloo squad but miss out in Kisumu are Austine Sikutwa, Clyde Kimaya, Eugene Omondi, Elvis Namusasi and Nelson Mwaki.
