Nondescripts RFC have named their squad for the Prinsloo 7s, scheduled for 25–26 July 2026 at the Nakuru Athletics Club, with three exciting debutants set to make their first appearance on the National Sevens Circuit for the Ngong Road side.

Former Strathmore Leos star Barnabas Owuor, Lamech Ambetsa, and Brian Ayimba headline the list of new additions.

Owuor joins from Strathmore Leos after an outstanding campaign in which he played a pivotal role in guiding the university side to a second-place finish on the National Sevens Circuit in 2025.

During that season, Leos claimed two tournament titles;Prinsloo 7s and Embu 7s with Owuor emerging as one of their standout performers.

EDITOR’S PICKS:

Ambetsa arrives from Kabras RFC, bringing a wealth of experience despite making his first circuit appearance for Nondescripts.

A multiple Kenya Cup champion, he has previously featured in the Kenya Sevens setup and has won several National Sevens Circuit legs during his successful spell with Kabras.

The third debutant, Brian Ayimba, joins from Mwamba RFC and will be looking to make an immediate impact in the Rangers’ colours.

Nondescripts have also retained the services of Tony Fiddens, who earned the Most Valuable Player award at the recent Ruff N Tuff tournament.

He is joined by Ronnie Omondi, the tournament’s top scorer, with the pair expected to provide attacking firepower as the team begins its campaign.

Ronnie Omondi will captain the side, leading a squad that blends experienced campaigners with emerging talent as Nondescripts seek a strong start to the 2026 National Sevens Circuit.
